Chicago-based DJs J2K (Josh Young) and Autobot (Curt Cameruci), better known as Flosstradamus, turn’t up Washington D.C with their HDYNATION tour with two separate shows. The 9:30 Club was packed with HDYBYZ & HDYGRLZ, selling out the event on Tuesday, December 16. The dynamic duo was joined by Curtis Williams featuring Two-9 and Mathias on Wednesday night.
The stage looked as if the 9:30 Club was a post apocalyptic dystopia, with barbed wire fences and a broken down vehicle. Flosstradamus used a variety of EDM, hip-hop, and trap to get the crowd PLURNT up. They dropped a new track of theirs with collaboration with Lil Jon & GTA called Prison Riot. Flosstradamus dropped their very own track “Mosh Pit”, and turned the entire floor into pandemonium. The rowdiness of the crowd couldn’t even be contained by the venue security.
The combination of the production, the atmosphere, and the music made for an incredibly fun night. If HDYNATION tour comes to a city near you, I highly recommend it.
